It’s been a year! As of last December the Pacific Business News, reported that nearly half of Hawaii restaurants could close by April 2021. Unfortunately, many did close their doors, however, many survived. And thanks to a new government stimulus and returning customers, we want to celebrate the eateries that did keep going despite a global pandemic.
With hundreds of dining options, finding the best restaurants, food trucks, bakeries, ice cream and shave ice shops throughout the islands. We’ve broken it down for you. Artisan agriculture is taking root, though, including heirloom fruit and vegetables, sugarcane (for rum), cacao (for chocolate) and coffee (for making life worth it.)
