So Easy, Even the Kids Can Do It

@lifewithlainee A cute and easy treat to make this spring/Easter!🐰🩵 ✨Bunny Bites✨ -pretzels (I used the square bites ones) -“bright white” candy melts -pastel M&Ms -optional: edible marker Preheat oven to 225° F. Place pretzels and candy melts on baking sheet. Bake for 2 minutes. Cut M&Ms in half (pro tip: place knife over the center and cut straight down for a perfect cut- not at an angle). Place M&Ms on melted chocolate straight out of the oven. Optional: draw little eyes and “x” for nose. #springtreat #eastertreat #easterdessert #springdessert #easydessert #wilton #snyders #mmschocolate #asmrfood #easydessert #bunnybites ♬ Peter Cottontail - Gene Autry

Bunny Pretzel Bites

Probably the simplest snack on our list, this recipe combines M&M’s, square pretzels and a bit of white chocolate to hold it all together. Once you cut the M&M’s in half, this recipe is a great opportunity to get young kids involved in assembly.

  • Bag of Snyder’s “Snaps” Pretzels
  • Pastel Blend M&M’s
  • Bag of white chocolate candy melts. White chocolate chips will do in a pinch too, but candy melts will make things so much easier!

Colorful No-Bake Cheesecake

Whip up whichever colors you like and make a colorful cheesecake — no baking necessary! Crumbled graham crackers make up your “crust,” and young bakers can use their favorite colors during assembly. Even better, these cheesecakes-in-a-cup are completely handheld.

  • 1 cup graham crackers, crushed
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • Food coloring, if desired

Bird's Nest Haystacks

A good addition to any Easter-themed platter, these haystacks are as simple as melting chocolate and stirring in some pretzels. In fact, that’s pretty much the whole recipe! Crunchy, chocolatey and totally cute, these bird’s nests come together with a few mini chocolate eggs on top.

  • 4 oz or ⅔ cup butterscotch chips
  • 4 oz or ¾ cup finely chopped semisweet chocolate
  • Kosher salt
  • 5 oz or 2 ½ cups chow mein noodles
  • 30 mini chocolate eggs

Fruity Desserts

Tiny Fruit Tarts

A breeze to whip up and super customizable, these “mini fruit pizzas” frost ready-made cookie dough with homemade frosting. The creator tops their tarts with strawberry, blueberry, kiwi and pineapple, but there are really no limits to what you can add (or subtract!).

  • Pillsbury Ready to Bake sugar cookie dough (16 oz bag recommended)
  • Sliced fruit of your choice
  • For the frosting, beat together:
    • 8 oz cream cheese
    • ¼ cup butter, softened
    • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
    • 3 cups powdered sugar

Puff Pastry Bunnies

Get ready for another adorable Pillsbury creation. This time, a bunny-shaped cookie cutter steals the show to make these treats Easter-themed. Even without the festive cookie cutter, the light frosting and fruity filling keep the pastries fresh as spring. Feel free to use your favorite berries.

  • Puff pastry sheets (the creator uses these)
  • Milk for brushing pastry
  • Powder sugar for dusting pastry
  • Strawberries, chopped
  • For the filling, beat together:
    • 1 ½ cup heavy whipping cream
    • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
    • ½ tbsp vanilla extract

Easter Egg Hacks

Dreamy Dyed Eggs

For a beautiful, cloudy finish on your Easter eggs, you need just one special ingredient: cool whip! Kids of any age will love this project, whether they want to express their creativity or just play with whipped cream.

  • Eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • Cool whip — enough to roll the eggs around
  • Food coloring

Adorable Egg Bunnies

Just a little bit of knife work will make your eggs the talk of any spring celebration. If you’re feeling creative, try to make different animals using this technique. I’m picturing a hard-boiled stegosaurus…

  • Hard boiled eggs!
@jessiejanedaye Deviled Egg Tulips 💐 Perfect Easter Appetizer. Save for later! Now, real talk: How do you hard-boil your eggs? My grandpa taught me to submerge the eggs in cold water and bring to a full boil. Only boil for two minutes. Turn off the heat, cover with lid, and let sit for 16 minutes exactly before removing and submerging in an ice bath. I must say, it works every time, but it’s super stressful counting the minutes 🤣Anyone have any tips or tricks? Ingredients: 6 large eggs 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 dash white vinegar or Tabasco sauce Kosher Salt, to taste 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 3 tablespoons mayonnaise Whole fresh green onions (stems) #easter #app #recipe ♬ original sound - jessiejanedaye

A Bouquet of Deviled Eggs

If you feel more confident in your knife skills after those egg bunnies, take it up a notch with deviled egg tulips. Pro-tip: if you don’t have professional icing bags, then put your filling in a Ziploc bag, cut off the corner and begin piping through the hole.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 dash white vinegar or Tabasco
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • ⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Stems of whole fresh green onions
