Nowruz, or the Persian New Year, arrives every year around the spring equinox. On the evening of March 12, McNears Beach Park will be alight for Chaharshanbe Suri, the first festivity of several for Nowruz. Sausalito Easter Parade and Egg Hunt

March 30

While most communities hold yearly easter egg hunts for their youngest, this Sausalito event stands out in one big way: Adults can participate too! No, you won’t be going head-to-head against a 3-year-old, but adults can search for eggs full of gift cards and prizes from local businesses in their own search after the kids’ hunts. The egg-centric fun is great for families looking for something different.
