Whether you are staying in Waikiki for the first time, or living on Oahu and looking for the best spot for breakfast, we’re here to help you make that all too important decision, “how to fuel to start the day.” We’ve included the hot spots on the south side of the island, including Honolulu “town,” Waikiki and Kaimuki. The foodie scene here is evolving with new places opening regularly, there’s a lot to sift through. Here are our favorite spots for the very important meal of breakfast on Oahu.

Breakfast in "town" a.k.a. Honolulu and Waikiki

A collage of three breakfast images: papaya halves with lime and garnish, a chia seed pancake with shredded carrot and nuts on top, and a sandwich with smoked salmon and vegetables inside a purple bagel. One photo beautifully captures an ocean view in Oahu.

Breakfast in Ko Olina

A collage of three delectable breakfast Oahu dishes. Left: Waffles topped with a scoop of ice cream and a strawberry, sprinkled with crumbles. Center: Eggs Benedict garnished with green onions. Right: An omelette served with fresh fruit, hash browns, and a side of pancakes.

Breakfast on the North Shore

A vibrant breakfast collage that evokes the flavors of Oahu: a plate of waffles with sliced bananas, strawberries, and blueberries; a cup of coffee with latte art beside a cinnamon roll; a hearty bowl of oatmeal garnished with lemon slices; and a smoothie bowl topped with granola and berries.
