Welcome to December's Festive Dinner Check-In Challenge

From fireplaces and twinkle lights to holiday dishes and festive cocktails, restaurants across the Bay Area, Monterey Peninsula, and Tahoe are ready to host your special evening this December and we’ve selected the best places for unforgettable festive dining experiences. Even if you’re just looking to relax with friends over the perfect pizza, we’ve got you covered in December’s Festive Dining Check-In Challenge. To participate, use the Local Getaways mobile app to “check in” to any restaurant on the list! No purchase necessary. At the end of December, one participant will be chosen at random to win a $100 gift certificate to one of the participating restaurants. Each check-in is an entry, so the more check-ins you complete, the greater your chances of winning.
How do I play?
Access our check in challenge from the home screen of the Local Getaways mobile app. When you view the list of participating locations, pick one and then click the button to check in at that location. In order to successfully check in, you will need to be at the restaurant. The app uses geolocation to verify that you are at the correct location.
In the spirit of the holiday season, Local Getaways will make a one dollar donation to longtime partner, SF-Marin Food Bank every time someone checks in at one of the selected restaurants.
