Aerial view of a coastal resort with several white buildings near a beach. A vibrant rainbow arches across the sky, framing green fields and mountains in the background. The ocean waters in the foreground are a deep blue, contrasting with the land—a scene akin to the best Oceanfront Hotels Maui West has to offer.

Lahaina, Maui

Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, a 23-acre oceanfront resort, built in 1963 and renovated in 1997, is positioned at the point where the legendary Black Rock or Pu‘u Keka‘a of Ka’anapali meets the ocean. Over 83 percent of the 508 rooms and suites directly face the ocean and feature a private lanai. Recently, the resort underwent a $6.5 million renovation, which focused on redesigning the interior of the guest rooms.
