Did you know that Embarcadero Center, adjacent to the picturesque Embarcadero Street which runs 2.5 miles along the San Francisco waterfront, is considered the largest mixed-use complex in the Western United States? This impressive, 4.8-million-square-feet space, consists of four office towers, a multitude of shops, restaurants and service retailers and one of the city’s most extensive public art collections. It’s also adjacent to two of San Francisco’s most popular hotels: the Hyatt Regency and The Jay.

At Embarcadero Center, there’s plenty to do: dine or enjoy happy hour al fresco on the rooftop at Sens with breathtaking views of the Bay, warm up from the fog with a tasty bowl of ramen at Kirimachi, or enjoy a beer with a televised game at Patriot House. Discover impressive sculptures found throughout the Center and other city landmarks with a self-guided art and garden tour. It’s also a must-visit for those planning a wedding, with a bridal gallery, two men’s formal wear shops, flower designers and boutique stationery and calligraphy services all in one place.

It also hosts special events year-round, including an annual spring Wine Walk, summer outdoor Happy Hours, Summer Eats and Beats with Off the Grid food trucks and live music, and a Holiday Market coinciding with Building Lighting, a night that truly kicks off the San Francisco holiday season.

Embarcadero Center could be called ‘Epi Center,’ thanks to its covered, off-street parking garages centrally located in proximity to San Francisco’s waterfront jewels. Park at one of Embarcadero Center’s four garage locations to gain easy walking access to the iconic Ferry Building, the gondola leading up to botanically rich Salesforce Park, the Exploratorium and Aquarium of the Bay museums, historic Levi’s Plaza, and any one of the many restaurants located on the piers along the water’s edge. Skip over to Embarcadero Street to hop on a vintage streetcar on the Muni F Line down to the sights at Fisherman’s Wharf — or take a leisurely stroll down to Oracle Park to catch a San Francisco Giants game.
