Fairmont Spa at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn
This grande dame of Wine Country hotels was built in 1927 on the site of an earlier hot springs resort. Its 40,000-square-foot, European- style Willow Stream Spa includes 30 treatment rooms, mineral waterbaths, Watsu pool and a custom “rain tunnel” you won’t want to miss.
Thanks to five geothermal mineral pools, it’s oh so easy to pleasantly lose a day at Fairmont Spa. Originating 1,100 feet below the resort property, the water ranges from 92 to 102 degrees and is packed with close to 30 different minerals. When your treatment time arrives, you’ll be whisked away to one of the spa’s 28 treatment rooms. The Fairmont Spa is open to both guests and the public.

The Lodge at Bodega Bay
After a day of adventuring along the Sonoma Coast, mellow out at the spa at The Lodge at Bodega Bay. Finding inspiration from its seaside backyard, the spa menu includes treatments like an Ocean Shell Therapy Massage and a Sonoma Coastal Massage. There are just two treatment rooms, so it’s a good idea to make reservations as soon as possible. Guests can book in-rooms massages on Saturdays. The Spa at The Lodge at Bodega Bay is open to both guests and the public.

The Montage Spa at Hotel Healdsburg
Located steps off of Healdsburg Plaza, The Spa at Hotel Healdsburg features six treatment room, including a couple’s suite. Choose from services like a Meyer Lemon Body Polish or Lavender Peppermint Massage, then lounge in a garden studded with olive and fig trees or relax on a chaise by the hotel’s pool. The Spa at Hotel Healdsburg is open to both guests and the public.

Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary
This day spa arguably stands out among the competition because of its signature Cedar Enzyme Bath treatment. The warm and aromatic mixture of ground cedar and rice bran comes from Japan. Osmosis Day Spa and Sanctuary is reportedly the only spa outside of Japan to offer the spa treatment.

Tucked away in a small bungalow that was once the home of the resort’s former owner, The Spa at Dawn Ranch is small but mighty. The Spa at Dawn Ranch is open to both guests and the public.
