HOW IT WORKS

First we ask you to fill out a very short online form so Katarina can get a head start on planning your getaway. Next, we set up a calendar date for you to have a Zoom meet-and-greet with Katarina.

Then the magic happens. Now that Katarina knows what you consider the perfect Maui getaway, she’ll not only create your custom Maui itinerary, she’ll even build you a custom Maui Island Google map with map pins and driving directions to all the places she recommends.

But wait, there’s more! Your custom Maui itinerary and map will be available anywhere, anytime on your own private web page at LocalGetaways.com. And it’s all designed to work flawlessly on your mobile phone while you’re exploring the island. How cool is that?!?

After booking your appointment with Katarina you can either chat online via Zoom or Google Meet, or by phone. And to speed things up we also request your fully refundable $250 payment after setting up your calendar date.

FAQ

The average time for receiving your custom itinerary after your Google Meet/Zoom chat is three days. 

Your $250 credit card charge will be reversed back to your credit card within 7 days. 

Our Getaway Guides will be available via email during your getaway and will respond as soon as possible. They exist to make your vacation as fun and flawless as possible. 

We don't require our Getaway Guides to meet with their clients unless they hire them to assist during their vacations (such as picking them up from the airport). But we do encourage our guides to meet with their clients if the opportunity presents itself. 

Just like any travel agent our Getaway Guides will need your credit card information in order to book your reservation, but will always approve with you in advance any transactions. 

Yes, we earn a small commission on some of the reservations we make for you, but at zero cost to you.

Yes, Local Getaways has been an IATA certified travel agency since 1998. 

Absolutely. Katarina can provide you with her Venmo information for direct tip payment.
