Born at Castle Hospital in Kailua on the island of Oʻahu, Mimi spent much of her childhood on the islands of Oʻahu and the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. She is currently living in California and working as an editor for a magazine that happens to feature Hawaiʻi-related content quite often. After many years of planning her own family trips and advising dozens of friends and friends of friends book their ultimate Hawaiʻian adventures. She became a travel agent and created this site to support her top picks on the islands.
