Waikiki is known for being a vibrant neighborhood popular for its surf, fine dining, and amazing hotels. Located on the south shore of Honolulu, it was once a neighborhood for Hawaiian royalty. Waikiki Aquarium

Founded in 1904, the Waikiki Aquarium is the second-oldest operating public aquarium in the United States. Its mission is to “inspire and promote understanding, appreciation, and conversation of Pacific marine life.” The aquarium has recently undergone exhibit revitalizations such as the green sea turtle exhibit.
