Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort
Honolulu, Oahu

Perched at the western edge of Waikiki Beach with 3,500 rooms — making it the largest Hilton in the world — the Hilton Hawaiʻian Village boasts 50-plus years of unique, star-studded hospitality. This is where the Blue Hawaiʻi cocktail was invented in 1957. In 1961, legendary hotelier Conrad N. Hilton purchased Henry J. Kaiser’s share of the resort for $21.5 million — one of the biggest transactions of that time — and followed this with a variety of other headline grabbers including opening the Rainbow Tower in 1968, which featured the world’s largest ceramic-tile mosaic (286 feet high by 26 feet wide), and the debut of Don Ho at the Hilton Dome in 1981. The property has a multi-generational appeal with petting zoos for the young children, ocean activities galore for the teens, and late night entertainment for the adults. Don’t miss the Friday night fireworks.
