Northern Lights Festival
December
Take a tour of Incline Village and Crystal Bay and wander amidst the glow of twinkling lights on snow. From film festivals to “Sip and Shop” events the North Shore embraces the season. Walk through the Candy Cane Lane and Village and meet Santa Claus on Dec. 2., at the UNR Incline Village Campus.

Festival of Winter Lights
Dec. 13-14
The City of South Lake Tahoe, in partnership with the Lake Tahoe Historical Society, hosts this free, two-night, outdoor holiday market-style event, featuring live music, singing, dancing, sleigh rides, a Christmas fire truck, light displays, local vendors, food and drink, tours of the museum and cabin, and of course, Santa!

Apres Ski NYE
Dec. 30-31
Après Ski NYE at the Tahoe Blue Event Center will combine electronic music, winter sports, and vibrant nightlife. Top national electronic music artists will bring the night to life and fuel the party.

Tahoe Film Fest
Dec. 5-8
This 9th annual film festival showcases new and important environmental films to educate audiences and celebrate the efforts of everyone who helps to maintain the beauty of Lake Tahoe and its surroundings. The Tahoe Film Fest also celebrates American Independent Films, new films from Latin America and award winning music documentaries. All proceeds from Tahoe Film Fest benefit UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center.
