Lava Cap Winery Tasting

Please bring your own mat or towel. Masks will be required until you’re on your mats.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival
JULY 17 – AUGUST 22
In case you missed it last month, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival continues for almost all of August. The show features three ambitious actors, clad in classic Converse tennis shoes and armed with an outrageous assortment of outerwear and props, cram the Bard’s entire canon of plays (and sonnets!) into two hours of sheer Elizabethan-esque ecstasy. Perhaps The Today Show captured its spirit best when they said, “If you like Shakespeare, you’ll like this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you’ll love this show!”

Full Moon Guided Kayak Tours
AUGUST 21, 5:30pm - 8:30pm + AUGUST 22, 6pm - 9pm
Tahoe Adventure Company’s Full Moon Guided Kayak Tours have two time slots during two evenings towards the end of April. The first night is the night before the Full Sturgeon Moon, and the second is the night it becomes full. The Sturgeon Moon, known to some as The Red Moon, appears as if it has a rouge tint due to the haze of the late summer skies, and what better way to appreciate it than on Lake Tahoe.
