Wine Road Barrel Tasting

The live event takes place in Santa Rosa, but it will also be broadcast virtually. “This is Us” is the theme for 2023. Presenters will cover a range of topics including how to foster inclusivity, negotiate more powerfully, the future of AI, and more.

Countdown to Spring at Jack London State Historic Park
March 4, 18
Get excited about spring hiking to the park’s famous Grandmother Tree on the 4th, and then return on the 18th to hunt for wildflowers along the trail. Reservations required.

Sonoma Epicurean
March 9-12
A weekend full of activities and symposiums, Sonoma Epicurean features hand-on events with renown wine country chefs and winemakers. This year’s lineup includes names like Charlie Palmer, Dustin Valette, Duskie Estes, and Medlock Ames winery co-founder Ames Morison. Proceeds benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Events take place throughout Sonoma County.

Pigs and Pinot
March 17-18
Taste 60 pinot noirs alongside pork dishes created by wine country’s favorite chefs. Now in its 16th year, the event benefits a variety of local charities and scholarships.

Blending Seminar at Medlock Ames
March 18
Be a winemaker for a day and learn more about the art of blending wine varietals from co-founder, Ames Morison, and winemaker, Abby Watt. An added perk, the seminar is held at the winery’s stunning Bell Mountain Ranch in Healdsburg.

Cyrus Dinner in the Wine Cave
March 18
Family-owned and operated, Alexander Valley Vineyards will celebrate the 23rd vintage of the winery’s CYRUS label with a wine dinner in its 25,000-square-foot underground wine cave. CYRUS pays tribute to Cyrus Alexander, Alexander Valley’s namesake.
