Ready to post your first event?
If you already have a User Account set up with us, log onto our Add New Event page by clicking here. If you need any help uploading your first event, watch the step-by-step video below and follow along.
A few tips before you watch the video:
- If your event takes place over the weekend or consecutive days, don’t use the Recurring Events feature. Instead, click the “All day event?” box and add the start and stop times for each day in the Event Description box. Example: “The event takes place April 23 and 24 from 10am to 5pm.”
- The video says you’ll have to wait for one of the LocalGetaways staff to approve your event before you can view it. We’ve now changed it so that you can view, edit, and make it go live to the public immediately (yay us).
- The events upload page may look a little different from the one in the video—we’re constantly making improvements for your uploading pleasure.
Note: If you don’t have a User Account set up yet—so you can log onto LocalGetaways.com and upload your events—send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll create a User Account for you.
